News University: Training for Journalists. Anytime. Anywhere.: "News University, which was announced in April 2003 by The Poynter Institute and the Knight Foundation, is in its start-up phase. Our current focus is the development of the technology to support interactive learning and the creation of prototype courses. Our next step will be to build a custom technology platform for NewsU -- one that can also be used by all journalism associations and training organizations to develop interactive learning courses of their own."
