Media Support Solutions 

is "a communications for development consultancy and Media Support Partnership, an NGO with charitable status registered in Scotland, are the two organisations which make up Media Support. Both companies work to harness the power of communications to benefit the information-poor in the world.

Media Support brings together a world-wide group of specialists who have pioneered the use of mass media in humanitarian emergencies and development programmes over the past ten years.

Much of their work focuses on radio training and programming, but also includes television, print, the Internet and community theatre. Drawing on its network of specialists, Media Support advises organisations on their communications strategy, manages field projects and disseminates good practice."

Media Support provides a seminar on Media and Peacebuilding at Europe's first Master's course on Communications for Development set up with funds from the Swedish International Development Assistance (SIDA) programme.
